For a long time, the Toyota Camry has been offering drivers throughout Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter dependable, sure-footed performance and a practical cabin with plenty of modern features. That’s certainly the case with the 2017 Camry, which is now available at Earl Stewart Toyota. For the 2018 model year, though, the Toyota Camry has been fully redesigned, and the results are downright inspiring. Here’s what we know so far.
Right out of the gate, the 2018 Toyota Camry makes a point of distinguishing itself from previous generations. The dynamic “Keen Look” design philosophy of the new Camry features sculpted and muscular lines, a lower hood and ride height, a wider and more aggressive stance, and more robust front and rear fenders. As you move up the trim ladder, you’ll have access to a number of additional styling elements, including 19-inch black machine-finish alloy wheels, a rear lip spoiler, an aggressively shaped rocker panel, and more.
The 2018 Toyota Camry will be offered with three new engine options, including a 2.5L inline-four Dynamic Force Engine, a 3.5L V6, and the latest generation of the Toyota Hybrid System (THS II). Look for these powertrains to offer improved levels of horsepower and torque over the outgoing generation of Camry engines, while also getting improved fuel economy. In fact, Toyota says that the new hybrid powertrain system is expected to get best-in-class fuel economy numbers, which will help you save even more at the pump.
In addition to the new powertrain options, the new Camry has also been built to deliver superior driving dynamics. The new double wishbone rear suspension helps deliver more responsive handling and tighter steering throughout life’s winding roads.
