Trims and Features

While the 2016 Toyota RAV4 comes priced to sell, you’ll still get all the features you want:

• LE: The base trim rides on 17-inch steel wheels and features a 6.1-inch Entune touchscreen interface, Bluetooth phone and audio, and a rearview camera. Other standard fare includes cruise control, a six-speaker stereo system, and a split-folding rear seat.
• XLE: The XLE comes standard with more exciting technology like satellite radio, HD radio, and Siri Eyes Free to let you control technological functions with your voice. Other upgrades include alloy wheels, a sunroof, and fog lights, plus a leather-wrapped steering wheel and upgraded front seat upholstery.
• SE: This year’s new “Special Edition” of the RAV4 starts things off right with a sport-tuned suspension and 18-inch wheels. Other upgrades include heated front seats, a power driver’s seat with memorized settings, SofTex leatherette upholstery, and LED exterior lights. You’ll also get added safety thanks to a blind spot monitoring system and rear cross traffic alerts.
• Limited: The Limited returns to the conventional suspension but adds advanced smartphone integration, turn-by-turn navigation, and a seven-inch high-res touchscreen. It also features adaptive cruise control and the Toyota Safety Sense package with lane departure warning and mitigation, forward collision warning and mitigation, lane departure warning, and auto high beams.

Performance and Fuel Economy

The 2016 Toyota RAV4 comes standard with a 2.5L four-cylinder engine fitted to a six-speed automatic transmission. It delivers 176 hp and 172 lb-ft of torque to either the front wheels or all four via the available all-wheel drive. Fuel economy comes in at an EPA-estimated 23 mpg city/30 mpg highway with front-wheel drive, or 22 mpg city/29 mpg highway with all-wheel drive.
