2022 Toyota Tacoma Engines
The Tacoma keeps its two engine options for 2022: a 2.7L and a 3.5L V6. Both engines offer strong performance on your daily drives in Palm Beach Gardens, but the 2.7L has a higher fuel economy, while the 3.5L V6 offers more power behind the wheel:
- 2.7L 4-Cylinder Engine — 159 hp and 180 lb-ft of torque
- 3.5L V6 Engine — 278 hp and 265 lb-ft of torque
Additionally, the Toyota Tacoma comes equipped with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed Electronically Controlled automatic with intelligence (ECT-i). The transmission you’ll receive depends on the Tacoma trim level you choose.
