2019 Toyota Avalon Exterior

Buying from a dealership can be an exciting experience! You arrive on the lot, tour the shiny showroom, test drive your favorite models, and then hopefully drive home in your dream car a short time later. Of course, you’ll first need to be aware of what to bring when financing a car.

Documents Needed to Buy a Car

  • Driver’s License: Your dealership will likely ask to make a copy of your driver’s license.
  • Proof of Insurance: You’ll need proof of insurance, especially if you’re applying for a car loanat the dealership. Your existing proof-of-insurance card will work just fine.
  • Certificate of Title: If you’re trading in your own vehicle as a part of the transaction, remember to bring along the Certificate of Title to hurry things along.
